a little about me

I support teams and organizations in working toward visionary futures. I’ve developed the skills that allow me to do this work well by learning and co-creating with inspiring people from around the world.
As a South Asian immigrant woman raised in San Antonio, Texas, my life has long been informed by international movement-building. Today I am a Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Institute where I belong to a community of more than 1,000 global equity practitioners. I have deepened my knowledge of collective leadership in Oxford, practiced future planning in Phuket, and studied the legacy of apartheid in Johannesburg.
Prior to consulting, I worked toward a more visionary future in my hometown. As the first chief equity officer for the City of San Antonio, I strengthened the impact of over $100 million in services and co-led equity training for the top 100 executives in local government. This work ultimately helped qualify the City for $326 million in federal funding to respond and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. I later served as executive director of SA2020, a nonprofit that was one of its kind in the country for co-creating a 10-year community vision and reporting on progress annually. Our work was profiled by the Brookings Institution and the American Institutes of Research.

In 2024, I participated in the Rockwood Leadership Institute's Art of Leadership Training, which included a 360 degree evaluation by people I have worked closely with over the past 10 years. See what they shared below.
